VILLAGE OF SUMMIT – Trustees approved the development of 47 new home sites Oct. 11 as part of the Lake Country Village subdivision project.
Now in Phase III, the homes, part of the Residences portion of the project, will be west of North Sawyer Road and south of the Phase II subdivision. According to Cindy Wegner of Neumann Developments, the minimum requirements is 1,700 square feet for ranch homes and 2,100 square feet for two-story homes.
Wegner said homes will range from the upper $300,000s to the mid $500,000s. Neumann Developments hopes to begin grading in Phase III this year and work on utilities over the winter. “Roads would not go in until summer of 2019,” Wegner said. Earlier in 2018, the village board approved 332 home sites.
“Phase II is currently being developed and expected to be completed around the end of the year,” Wegner said. “There are 13 lots in The Residences Phase II that are already pre-sold and are about a month away from completion. It’s because of the strong sales in the current phases that we decided to bring on an additional 47 home sites in Phase III.”
As part of the Lake Country Village development, an outdoor swimming pool, pool house, sports court and children’s playgrounds were constructed.
